I had a friend who wasn't a Paul supporter until I pointed out to him all the other Republicans had bad economic policies and were pro-patriot act/real ID act, and that Paul WASN'T a 9-11 truther (he knew it, but I had to grind it home. Your pragmatism is admirable. But let's be honest; by any measure, Paul's views are too far outside of the Republican mainstream for him to have ever had a realistic chance at the nomination.
