for revival of smaller fishes, holding the fish by the tail will be sufficient. and then move the fish forward and backward to push water through the mouth to help the fish breathe again. but in this case, the fish is huge, and hence this hugging method is adopted. i see the hole now. looks like the lip grip caused it when the fish struggled. i hope (and i don't think) that it will be too much for the fish to take... thks for the info

That's an urban legend, or at least it is as far as I can tell, because nobody I know here knows anyone who has gotten high or tingles from fugu fish and no one actually knows of a specific restaurant that does that. Loved the Book, the series, the movie, and last the author. And yeah in comparison, the movie wasn't as good as the Book or Series, but that is mostly due to the fact they wanted to streamline it and also make it less....distant to the audience (thus the love story aspect being more focused on) All in all, great collection of media and entertainment!
