I actually couldn't disagree more. He has slowed down recently to about an album a year pace, and I thought the 2005 trilogy was the highlight of his career. If you look back to 2001 and 2002, his best work (48 Hours and The Suicide Handbook) wasn't even released. The guy clearly writes a ridiculous amount of songs. With the internet's reign over the music scene, it is pretty easy to weed out what you don't like. I wish more musicians would follow suit and release more material.

I think Ryans new stuff is bloody fantastic. Im only 17 and i have every album including all his Whiskeytown stuff. Its all amazing. I think Cardinology is a bit different and a bit more 'modern' than his previous stuff and i think thats what he was trying to achieve.

It wasn't the crowds fault- I was there...The sound was second rate, the noise limits in Regents park are really tough, so all the acts were quiet, and the golden circle was so big, even the people who had queued for days were at least 300m from the stage... The venue management was easily the worst I have ever seen (or not heard). Great performances considering :)

i cant understand why people stop liking artists because they get bigger. if you were a true fan you would stay a fan. i'm a fan of dizzee and have been since his earlier stuff. i usually go for indie/rock music, but i am a massive fan of dizzee. music is about getting yourself heard, which is exactly what dizzee has done. so nice one dizzee and screw the sellouts who stop listenin 2 ur great music. peace.

Dizzee is a universal artist. I know people who are hardcore punk fans and they like dizzee. Although these days he is making rubbish tracks. Can never top boy in the corner. Showtime was also good.
