The problem with this is that there isn't anything we can do. We like to warn people about this, but what good is that? It won't stop it. Technology always progresses unless there is a fall in civilization (e.g. Rome and the dark ages). Our world is too large for any one nation's collapse to have enough of an effect as to prevent this chip from coming. If we were to rise up, that would only increase the desire of governments to bring the chip out to prevent "terrorists" like us.

The auther is Derrick Jensin "as the world burns" "Walking on water" A language older then words" "welcome to the machine" "A culture of make believe" "listening to the land" "welcome to the machine" is more about this but the other books read in that order I put them are a real eye opener.
