I was blown away by this tune when it came out. I must have been about 13. I couldn't really get into them at the time, but this and the album Stars are gold. What frustrates me though is the official tab book for this album. Now, I can't really play guitar, but even I can tell they didn't bother tabbing this album out properly at all, and just gave some weak, easy guitar style part that tries to compensate for all the instruments. Annoying.

Switchfoot isnt a 'Christian' band but they are all christian. Another thing, Christianity is not a 'religion' its a relationship with God. CHristians believe that you dont get to heaven by 'good works' because nobodys perfect and everybody sins, but by the grace of God. I find it so interesting that the Jewish religion has as part of the wedding ceremony a statement about forbidden relationships. I think gay marriage would be fine as a secular undertaking, but given the explicit nature of Jewish, and other religions', views on it, maybe we should not push for religious sanction.
