deathnote is good yes, but night is even more. I got hooked by another one of their song, the one from claymore. then i got their world ruler album, since claymore's sonf wasnt on an album yet, and it got me hooked in one listening. I then heard one of these song (or 2?) was amde for deathnote, which made me watch the naime afterward. I already read the books before, and seeing detahnote making the title song for the anime was jsut...perfect. You better get heir albums, they're all great!

yea i hope when i have to dissect a frog it will be fake. it's hard to tell what it was supposed to mean but it definitely shows how we should just love life knowing we will eventually die. i think in some way it also shows how we should treat all creatures with respect.

Its all a matter of opinion i guess. To me, the Jules version simply showcases and highlights the exceptional lyrics tears wrote. I think their version is so busy it distracts from the lyrics. sometimes simple is better. but in the 80's, this style would have sold better- so i can see why they chose this approach.

Dont listen to them man, sure he did 'rap' but it is kind of like Brandon Boyd from Incubus kind of approach, which i thought was pretty cool but i guess the band has evolved past that stage which i think is better for them coz not only is the recent material better sounding because of the song structures the way the stuff is produced is something else if you listen to the drums you literally dont miss a beat but sure thats David Bottril for ya.
