I think Mussie does a bang-up job - I find the voice extremely soothing - not a bad thing for presenting information. I would say it makes it a friendlier approach - and this is, after all, Friend Connect. Hey, Google, more Mussie Shore videos!

How does this grow traffic on your own website?
By: snekse. on 07 Aug 08, 21:00:48
Nope. It's been like 6 or 8 weeks. Nothing.
By: peacockTV. on 07 Aug 08, 20:40:07

By: hilld7291. on 25 Jun 08, 19:38:32
kind of a creepy video....
By: in2PM. on 11 Jun 08, 14:52:18
You are adding features to an existing website - yours! Why loose your audience to destination sites to conduct social networking activities? It's about audience retention and creating revenue generating opportunities.
By: Lucid00. on 10 Jun 08, 23:29:07
Because that won't help... The target of all of this is simplicity and Open Social, why create a brand new social network that could fail while you can just rely on the success of existing one's. (especially since users dislike having to create an account for a website just to do one thing)
By: in2PM. on 06 Jun 08, 14:55:02
Why stop with just snippets of social media applications for a website, why not offer a full blown social network with profiles, groups, comments, etc capabilities? in2community is already offering that....

And it is up to those outside Google to keep up, develop, be enlightened, too. Yes, I take your point. Thank you, thrackl3.
By: thrackl3. on 05 Jun 08, 19:10:10
Hi HD41117, Google's platform is the Internet. It's in their interest that the Internet continues to grow, and that is does so in a way that Google remains able to compete. Google feels that as long as the competition is open and fair that they can win, or at least do well. It's enlightened self-interest. Good for them.

l.o.l. There's conspiracies, then conspiracy nuts. You should read and see what Google really does for the world. It's ridiculously helpful. Their main motto is Do No Evil. They are strongly anti-corporate and love Open Source. Sorry, but they're better than all other IT firms by default.
By: DeeJayZone. on 21 May 08, 12:31:17
Looks interesting.
