I would say its MORE than realistic ;-)...Some SMALLL drawbacks with the small cockpit view,and no driver camera view change,BUT,other than that,you have to battle with hills,and bounce around ALLOT,and need to use hill assist gears,and a few other aspects,make this like the #1 BushBombing Simulator Out there!!!

to bmwm6340: grid is set out similar to gran tourismo, execpt all the cars are in racing classes, there are no road cars. the game play is unrealistic, u can drive round hairpins at 100mph, its stupid....... its very boring after a while and repetitive.... the drifting is its only good feature,which is coppied straight from need for speed.

Hay fuckwit, I play WoW but I fuckin' love this. Don't tar us all with the same brush. This game is by FAR the best ARCADE racer out there. Pure sim, GTL is still the daddy with Rfactor a close second. All on the PC I might add. :P

But with a cool move like this RP editor, there just might be alot of bored trackmania guys into crossing over from ever so boring arcade racing scene into the now very interesting sim racing scene. Thanx mate. Hopefully many types of track will be possible in time, but my best guess would be just one set of tiles when the editor is released, with more to follow. The Developer Alexease og Hungary has already promised to keep developing the editor. Piddy of BTB fame has alrady made a positive posting regarding the RaceParks Editor, at the RSC forums.! agree with daviking66 how many different sectons of track will be available? could there be an option to alter corner angle as most corners aren't continuous radius would there be an option to import a background picture to allow the user to try and replicate an existing track? could be extremely good fun but might create difficulty with online racing and circuit compatibility

Cheers, when playing this game it almost feels like you have to avoid any contact, also if you oversteer the car does a 480 and getting out of a spin is tough. I havent made it sound too good, but if it wasnt for 'over-the-top' damage and control it would be a nice game.

Remember how amazing Toca sounded. This will also sound amazing. I am positive that they're using one car sound for every automobile so they can focus on the physics and graphics, and then the sounds will come last. Codemasters car sounds kick GT and Forza's ass. I remember how awesome Toca Race Driver 2 sounded.
