By: christheferal. on 21 Feb 08, 05:22:00
but you can't get a 4GB version, it's just not possible, unless you are talking about a 4GB card, though you did say N95 4GB

They could make this phone thinner, but you will lose the 3.5mm headphone jack. You will also lose those nice sounding speakers, and who knows what other features that would need to be downgraded to make this phone thinner. I don't think that it's thickness is a major issue. It's still pretty light and comfortable to hold. If you want a thin phone, get the iphone, but then you will not get the great features that would require a phone to be a little thicker =)

I've got an n95 and it costs nothing to use these applications. The GPS mapping is free, you can either download the maps 'on the fly' via 3G (My price plan give me unlimited 3G data access) or you can download the maps using an application from Nokia's website and store them on your n95's memory card. The whole of the UK is about 120mb.

I have everything else under menu excluding "Image effects" and "Menu sounds." Is anyone with the Finland version N95 like this when in landscape mode?!
By: mistabrown. on 06 Jun 07, 06:37:27
You should see the following items when you slide the screen to the right, activating the Media Menu (and shifting the screen to landscape mode): Open, Menu Items, Background Images, Image Effects, Menu Sounds, Startup Animation, Help. Thay is where Menu Sounds should be.
By: REDREDRUM666. on 06 Jun 07, 05:08:05
wtf? i don't have menu sounds under options.......but when i select help it mentions menu sounds. am i missing something here?
By: mistabrown. on 06 Jun 07, 03:52:10
You mean when you slide to the landscape mode? Just slide, then choose Options->Menu Sounds->On
By: REDREDRUM666. on 06 Jun 07, 03:44:18
you know how you slide the n95 down to go to the apps it makes that sound? does it only do that on asian n95 versions? i have a finland version and it doesn't make that sound...
