It becomes very obvious that folks that question peoples music don't play music themselves. There is this little thing called influence, and Roland Kirk and kids from ANB would tell you the same shit. Go see Antibalas and let THEIR music be what gives you a feeling, not a youtube post. Your opinion is respected, but dont hit someones music when you sit at a computer to do it.

There are those that go into their labs, like Fela, and mix and match and come up with genius. This genius inspires others either to go into their own labs to work or they go on to venerate the original genius, spreading the word. Both are worthwhile and legitimate especially since the original genuis in question, Fela, cannot testify in person any longer.
