This specific arrangment is based on Setsuka's battle theme, and the slower and more relaxed mood helps to characterize Setsuka's sorrowful past.

I like both versions. I prefer the central theme of Ephemereal Dream, but I prefer the body of Innocent Vision, more upbeat, never slows down a lot more character added to it I also think the intro to Innocent Vision is superb and wonderfully sets up the song, just a little bit better than Ephemereal Dream. But Ephemereal Dream sounds like it should be a score in a movie, where Innocent Vision sounds like it should be where it is....in a video game lol. That is just my opinion.

I agree. Well...sort of. They didn't totally ruin it, but the sho is a very unusual replacement for the violins. It sounds like bagpipes :/ Still, I think this arrangement of "Ephemeral Dream" evokes a more night time feel, whereas "Innocent Vision" captures the stillness of the morning snow, so it does work in that respect. But I definitely prefer this one.
