I changed my youtube site from jjswgrocks to swgspecialtytours, and like I said before I am a current player with no ties to sony or swg, and the game is way better than it ever has been. I started day 2 2003, & am still current. If you want to see what you can do with deco check out the the specialty tour vids. They just announced hoth as an instance, in an upcoming chapter. The nge was horrible but it was in nov 2005, a lot has changed, & game play has improved. Balgosa's vids are the best

Old players, still don't know: all characters have combat now, vender stock room relisting -touch of a button, CH is now beast master, create your own mutated pets or be a 45 point expertise beast master. Anyone can get a bounty by pvp, and you can win in pvp, if you use tactics based on your character. House deco has been upped, abandoned houses packed. Quests are the way to get exp, Ent buffs are needed, & Ents can melee.

Current players, by all means give an opinion. But cu/pre cu, had so much mindless grinding, dantooine - grinding sharnaffs & quenkers. Certain professions - god templates, space combat was not in game till late cu, pvp was a joke if you didn't have the right template. The content now with chapter 7, just blows the older versions away. But people that haven't played, just mindlessly base their idea on Nov.2005, trying to affect peoples views when they have no idea.

500 characters can't really describe the depth, or the features SWG has now, compared with its previous versions. Most people were concerned that when NGE released that swg was dumbing down the charters, from 31 profs to 9 profs, but the expertise system now has more selection than pre cu or cu. There is more choice now with expertise with the same abilities pre cu and cu had, but it is not unbalanced like the previous versions. This vid thou is still the best out there!

There were a lot of players very upset and rightfully so at NGE's release. Chapter 7 is emminent, and if you have not seen that yet, even you would be amazed. There is content now, questing over grinding for better experience, the game is not the same nge 2 years ago or 6 months ago, it is way better than pre cu or cu ever was. The biggest loss was the mass players that quit after nge release. Old players are starting to come back, and chapter 7 is truely amazing!

Haven't really played for 2 years or so. Just for fun I downloaded the free trial to go back for a visit. I am sorry to report Helios is no longer there. Many houses are still there but the shuttleport, town hall... its all gone. mobs are walking around whats left like they own the joint. It breaks the heart to see SWG go in the crapper like this.
