The liberals are taking this out of context. Governor Palin simply said that she reads a huge variety of newspapers from the continental US, and that Alaska isn't that far away from the rest of the states that she wouldn't get newspapers from the other states. Maybe she assumed that Katie just asked her that question to see if she was in touch with the rest of the country (which was what she probably was looking for anyway) so she answered it. Nothing big. Stop whining about it people!

In my opinion, Kane is not the best film ever made. Casablanca, The Godfather, and Lawrence of Arabia are all better films. However; overrated doesn't always mean bad, Kane is still one of the most innovative films ever made and is still an all-around masterpiece, and it's probably, out of all of the classics, the film that has aged the best.

Watch very very closely between 7:23 and 7:26. The lady who tears up the newspaper hands it off with the lady in the white shirt behind the pillar. Then, Darren makes the woman who tears up the paper raise her hand, because she knows which hand has the "loaded" paper in it. Then he makes her pick between 1-10, because the section of "loaded" newspaper is on top of the pile, and the torn up "real" paper in on the bottom so she can't get to it. The main point though is the hand-off, its quick.

i'm 99% certain that it is a Master brand combo lock. master combo lock's 1st and 3rd numbers are always offset by intervals of 4. in this case, 1 and 13 actually DO fit into this sequence, but the 2nd number is always offset to that sequence by 2. so if one number in the combination is odd, ALL will be odd. same for evens. if the first number in the combo is 1, then the only possibilities for the 2nd number are 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, and 39 see masterlock combo cracking

lol I just realized the "tap" when he read from Page 14 was NOT the first time he tapped the papers. He did it a few times during the INSTRUCTIONS before she knew that she would be telling him to stop... so he anchored the ACTION of "stop me" with the auditory cue of hearing the paper being tapped. Simple. NLP, even if Derren Brown denies it ;)

ich vermute ganz stark, dass so einige tricks bei der show mit hypnose bewerkstelligt worden sind. z.b. der trick mit dem teller mit wasser, der nach verschiedenen gerichten schmecken soll, ist so ein typischer hypnosetrick. die frage ist nur wie, bzw. ob die promis mit ihrem wissen hypnotisiert worden sind. mit hypnose kann man so gut wie alles suggerieren, darum find ich das auch ziemlich platt, das in einer solchen zaubershow zu verwenden.
