Thanks for posting. This was the 2nd version actually. The first version had a different guitar solo. Great job! What Mike Post and the producers did was, they extended this version a few times. That's how it got on the radio and became a hit. Excellent job.

some people just dont understand how this amp works. It is VERY powerful....16,000 watts RMS and also SUPER clean, one of the cleanest car amps EVER made. The engineer Tony D from Rockford explains how it works. Also a little clip of the "wall of subs" added to the end. We are currently putting 2 of these in my buddys Escalade and there are tons of vids showing the progress of that project.

to bad the majority of what this man is saying is a load of crap. the amp retains the current in caps. just as you would with an external cap. the porblem with that is once you have a hard bass note you drain the caps. and if you continue playing heavy bass they do not recharge quick enough. you cant draw from " both " systems at the same time it all comes through the same point.

Could someone please clear this up for me, because I am really confused! Why is it the car can supply this amplifier with the max power it uses (350 amps) and a circut board at home can only supply between 10-20 amps to whatever needs it? I'm really into speakers, but I want to set them up in my house not a car. The thing is 1 circut board can only supply 2400 watts at 240v, which is 10 amps. I'll easily reach 2400 watts if I keep using car audio! So why is this?

Great information on a man who, together with Stu Pilips, puts current TV intros to very very great shame. I think Rockford wouldn't like this track to fall in the hands of the police as it clearly has his fingerprints all over it. The same "lead instrument". I admit without shame that I'm a sentimentalist. I love the good old stuff like this. well the thing is when i got my car when it was introduced into canada they will only allow you to get the fast key and the sunroof if you got the sound system with it. It came as one package and you had to pay $2000 for it all together as one. Well i figured it was kinda worth the money because the sunroof alone is like $1000 bucks and the rest is dividing the fast key with the sound system. Personally i had originally planned this and later getting like dual 12" subs and a bigger amp.

i dont no if im a little late comenting on this but me and my dad have a lancer he has a gts with the sun and sound and i have a de i have my own system in mine which costs 600 dollers and his costed over 2000 with the package and mine is 10 times better i wouldnt reccomend that package only if u want the sunroof

Well, what kind of aftermarket system are you trying to compare it to. Like obviously you wouldent be able to compare this 650 watt system to a 1000 watt. It is kinda obvious which would be better. A good reason why i bought this with the car is: 1. You get warranty with it on the car, putting a aftermarket voids certain warranty aspects of your car. 2. It would cost far more to put money into a good aftermarket system. 3. I would have to pay lots to get it intergrated into the car nicely.

thats actually the 1000.1bd. Everything in that car is punch equipment no power stuff. the 1500.1 is a power amp. They just inverted the woofers to look cool and save some space in the corners. Alot of the stuff in that car is about 2-3 years old actually.
