i think the whole problem is not the voices, or the arrangement..it's the fact that they turned a song that gave you goosebumps into something very great warrior entering the fortress, epic, hero type of song and that kind of sucks...

Well IMO that is what makes them sound bad. I think only one has a decent voice and thats it. The others should just be background vocals instead of jumping in and out of the song. The whole arrangement is wrong but I do like the idea of turning the song into a rock ballad its just this is not how it should be done.

The whole reason they are who they are, and sound decently cool, is because they have 4 of the best metal vocalists, not just in Finland, but around the world. Some of their songs do only feature one of them, but all four combining for one song is what gives it it's power and epicness.

I think they have a good concept but suffer from changing who is singing the song way too much. They need to pick one lead singer and stick with him because a different singer cutting in every 5 seconds throws everything off.

I usually love metal versions of older songs, but this one I just couldn't get into. It makes me want to listen to the original more. I always thought Kiss From a Rose was impossible to cover successfully or to improve upon, and for me, this proves it.

I know this song is referencing things from England, but like all great songs it somehow speaks a deeper truth. Massive waves of nostalgia hit when I watch the video and hear the lyrics, they resonate with my childhood memories in my "Northern Town". And damned if there aren't actual images from my town in this video! One is at 1:49 and several others are scattered about. I guess if you want to portray industrial town decay, you can't do better than Pgh Pa. sigh

For those of us raised in the North, certainly in the 70's and 80'sa during the general and Miner's strike, this song will strike a cord, forever. Did you realise what your parents and grandparents suffered to give you a greater future, we all think so, but do we really understand that rough but all encompassing Northern love? They are in fact making no second season for the anime.The anime is dead and the ending,in my opinion, was terrible compared to the level of the manga when it ended.But they ARE republishing the Manga and are gonna finish the story in two new volumes.The new Manga CHapters should come out in May 2009 or something. Can't wait ;)

The only thing that ended was the Shaman King anime which diverted from the manga, they both went their seperate ways, the anime ended and well the manga funding ran out apparntly. So they may be reviving the series.

I think Tori uses so many lyrical metaphors ie:"turn the page" is because they can mean more tham one thing to each listener... to some the line means quit crying, to others it will mean 'this ride ain't fun anymore' the cool thing is that it all subjective and correct however you interpret it.
