I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but yes, the enviroment would have been better of without these travels. Don't get me wrong, I like this project; but people have to realise that travel is also a egotistical venture. Matt can do this because of the money he earned, and though even this may inspire people in a short time it will be forgotten by almost anyone and the damage done is inreversible. So, before making this man as a hero, try to think, will ya?

well like most advertising, it gets old after the first time. I'm sure he has made a nice amount from the sponsors he has had (i would hope).. although I've never seen him on any other advertising format then youtube. But either way I'm sure he has had a good life and if he's smart he will think of other ways to break societys thinking. But like most, he will be typecast, do a few guest speaking events and be forgotten about. I could be wrong, but really I'm never wrong.

Technically speaking, she'd develop her own 'programming' language, in order to control the velocity... it is these graphical patterns which could be considered as being a 'program'... not as much of logic in there as you would have expected as in any other programming language's syntax, but still. Yes this is true. She did have a very good triple lutz, very pure and on a true outside edge, and very good basics. Her overall jump technique on all jumps was solid. I do see her good points. I just could never get into the cold stiff quality I found to her skating, but alot of it may have been a function of nerves. I still think an in shape Tonya was clearly a more exciting and better skater, but Nancy was still a very solid skater with many points for young skaters today to learn from.

Definitely. Harding at her 91 Nationals and 91 Skate America level was far too much for either Oksana or Nancy to even hope to beat (at that point in Oksana's career). She was young enough, I see no reason why she couldnt have regained that level if she really wanted it. Even her 94 Nationals level of performance should have put her on the podium at the Olympics and been competitive with the top 2.

Actually you are right, only 3 clean triples, not even 4 like I first said. I actually think Nancy should have won, but what you mentioned goes even further to show Oksana hardly hard a "great" performance. An overmarked one, and also one that benefited from a less then stellar 94 field with Yamaguchi and Ito gone more then anything.

It is a sad comment on our society as well that Intellect is not looked at with the same qualities as it was. There are more PhD's than Carter's has liver pills and most of them are not worth much. I hope I live to see a complete reassessment of all the U.S. Presidents by a new, more enlightened crop of historians; Harding is the most underrated of all the presidents, IMO, and certainly among the top sixteen; I am not a fan of those presidents who plunged us into unnecessary wars and spending sprees. Yes I can see how Dale Carnegie would like Harding. Harding was a great guy. he was basically self made, appeared confident, looked so much like a President should in the early days of mass media. Both were writers too..There was a kinship there. I always admire Harding for his writing, his speeches are very good, and not what many of his detractors have stated. He was not the itellect that Wilson was, but I think he had a lot more common sense that Wilson ever had.

Yes I recall that from his histories. Harding was never a very well man. He had some emotional issues, breakdowns, an enlarged heart, high blood pressure, and two doctors of opposing views who both treated him. This is a menu for disaster. I think he had another heart attack while having the crabs. I am sure the crabs were soaked in butter and once again his stress level must have been through the roof at that time. I have a lot of pity for him.

As for Harding's legacy, I don't think he's forgotten. Dale Carnegie cast a very sympathetic light on him in his famous book "How to Win Friends and Influence People." To the best of my knowledge, that's still a very popular book. There may never be a big "Harding Monument" in D.C. but I think he lives on in the sympathetic hearts of men and women everywhere who've read Carnegie's work.

You know, Harding visited Vancouver just days before his death. A local legend here says that he ate shell fish at a yacht club restaurant (still in business) and died of food poisoning from it. There's a huge brass and stone memorial to Harding in Stanley Park. I wrote some of my best work while sitting on it.

Gaston Means who did not even know Harding. Yet it is through his stupid and false book called "The Strange death of President Harding" that most of the wild rumors and speculations of his life came. Means made most of it up. He used Nan Brittan's book "The President's daughter" as a guide. I am lucky to have all of these Harding books in my library. All of them were to take advantage of a situation. That there was money to be made from a man who could not fight back.

Oh sorry about that. Dr Harding his father as I can see one equipted with a good sense of humor. Harding will always be dumped on historically as he has no allies. Think of it..No one to protect him. It was amazing that no one wanted to dedicate his monument and grave till 1931! He was very much a victim of those he trusted, and those who he did trust fed his legacy to the endless appetite of political satire and assassination. The final and most deadly shot came from the pen of Gaston Means
