The studios were incredible, management was the problem, paying themselves huge salaries, not putting any money into advertising, and cutting development. It is a shame, we were the I-phone long before the I-phone existed.

The hardware was amazing, way too powerful for it's time as a handheld and so on. But the advertising sucked (models? launch party that looked like a launch party for some playboy shit or whatever?) and the "creators" of it if you want to call them that were pretty much a swedish mafia! if you want to know more I got a link for the full story with details.

Puggster speaks the truth. I've been looking for a gizmondo to buy for a couple of years now, but never found one... :/ I seriously want one, if only for some of the games and the handy GPS function. Gizmondo would probably have been a better handheld than the PSP, though they are apparently working on the gizmondo widescreen. I hope to see some success from that.

the gizmondo dosent suck balls just because the managment fail dosent mean the gizmondo does the gizmondo failed because of lack of advertisements lack of press coverage little media attention and practicaly no publicity at all just because the fat cunts wanted bling rides and livin it up rather than promote the device what other gaming machine can do the shit gizmondo can out of the box ? ...dont diss the consol for sommit the managment did

Omg ... reading these comments makes me sick.. Gizmondo sucked balls. The hardware was pathetic. The executives did some really bad choices. The only thing that was good in Gizmondo was the studio in southern Sweden. They did the Augmented Reality code.. yes.. There is no hardware here .. just taking a photo and decode the screen to find symbols to place 3D stuff on the screen. hehe .. JUST Again , the executives fucked everything up.

Lies, Gizmondo wanst rated worse then Virtual boy and 3DO, Gametrailers put it in the nš 1 of the worst consoles of all times becuase the way the console failed not because it was bad, the console was good and had a lot of potential.
