Nader does have the closest grasp on reality. However, under the winner-take-all scheme (as it has been shown worldwide) a 2party system always results ('rational' voters see that they do not affect the election unless they vote for 1 of the strongest 2 parties that they lean towards). For Nader to win, the Democrats would have to be completely discredited, then the system would turn to Greens/Independents vs. Republicans. The way the electoral votes are counted has to change otherwise.

Obama has helped the poor!!Before he became a state senator, he did plenty of volunteer work!!He could have took a six figure job when he finished law school, but he decided to stay and be part of a non profit organization, were he became a community organizer!! this is one of the best short interviews with Nader I've seen. I'm pleasantly surprised to see a mainstream news channel ask some really good questions, not just start our with attacks and biases on characters. I can only imgagine that regardless of the net costs for a product most companies will not pass on these savings to consumers. McCain sucks and Obama isn't half bad (no pun intended :), but I would rather see Obama in the white house rather than McCain. I would like to vote for Nader, only problem is that if I vote for Nader, that is one less vote for Obama. In other words if the margin of votes between Obama and McCain is only 1%, and 1% of the leftist population votes for Nader rather than Obama, Then that basterd McCain would Win :(

Ron Paul has specifically supported and stated that government's job is to protect the property and privacy of its citizens and actively opposes any measure which threaten that, like FISA, The Patriot Act, and the Military Commissions Act. The departments he wants to close are the departments that oppress the people and their freedoms.
