I saw them live about '68 at the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport (La). We were nicely loaded and these guys played one of the best concerts I ever went to, ever. Talk about a band with balls that records never seemed to capture. These guys were the best, especially on stage. Another band with balls often overlooked other than in the Pacific Northwest was the Liverpool Five, a band from England that emigrated here in the Sixties and recorded a couple of little publicized albums for RCA.I saw them a couple of times in Seattle and they were great.Long live Rock!!!!!

The only thing this has got in common with Santana is the fact they both covered it, and they both did it totally differently to The Zombies original. Vanilla Fudge did it before 'the utterly shit' Santana, anyway. Not that I'm saying this is good, mind. Reforming this band without Mark Stein and Vinnie Martell is a very bad idea...and even with them it's not great. They are too 'muso'. Now if they were ONLY using gear from before 1969, they would have a chance of being good.
