To the best of my knowledge, WHAT NOW MY LOVE is very possibly to most reprised song (by orchestra leaders and artists alike) of the 20th Century... in the same league as CARAVAN, BEYOND THE SEA and MACK THE KNIFE, only worldwide !!! This version of WHAT NOW MY LOVE looks actually like a replica/hommage to Petula Clark's 1965 cover of the same song - only without the genious touch of Tony Hatch's Orchestra ; if you listen closely at the end, Agnetha hits the same two notes ("My love") Petula does... must be a tribute of some kind. I must admit that obscure song of an obscure album (THE WORLD'S GREATEST HITS) is one of my favorite ; Agnetha must be a fan too...

I directed this video in 1983. I remember that we worked in a public bath in Stockholm (Centralbadet) for two nights when nobody was around. After the last shot Agnetha fell into the water and we could not shoot any more (her hair got all wet)!. Dancers are Blossom Tainton and a friend. Agnetha is so lovely & charming, she's just herself, very normal and down to earth with no phonyness. I don't think it has ever been easy for her to be in the public eye, especially as much as she was during the Abba years, she basically just loves to sing, but without all the stress of media attention. I can just imagine how stressful that would have been for anyone. I hope we get to enjoy more of her beautiful voice though.

She seems perfectly normal to me. She just happens to be very open and honest. It's easy to say she has all these anxieties, and the media love to run with stuff like that, but the thing is most people would not relate those things in an interview! Being so open about how she feels magnifies things because of her fame, but in reality everyone has anxiety and self-doubt when you get to know them. She just doesn't bother to create a fake public persona - which is very appealing actually! : )

What a sweet soul. She's still beautiful after all of these years. I'm a 40 year old man and would be proud to be with someone so beautiful (I am very proud to be with my 46 year old wife ;-). I know how she feels regarding children and animals. I can't take sad stories with them as subjects. I hope she continues to find the peace that she seeks in life.
