There is a great comparison I make, mentally, between Ali G and Stephen Colbert. Anyone else see the commonalities in interviewing style? Thanks for the info, I have been mistaken about this for years it seems. Chomsky did not recieve a Noble prize, it was Niels K. Jerne who used Chomsky's generative model to explain the human immune system, this is where I must have become confused. Also I disagree on your point about the interview, I think that Chomsky may well have enjoyed the it and the bewildering logic of the humour.
