Actually in one of my earlier posts to this video (page 2), I suggested doing a Google search for Jeremy Rolfs and two good links would come up first. One is from the True Crime Blog that talks about this case and TRIES to connect it to another case from 1992. The person who apparently killed the first couple was considered a suspect in the death of Heather, but not officially. That person in the first case died, but it was never verified that HE was the one who killed Heather.

Jeremy Rolfs died in 1997 in a car accident. I just read the story through google. The computer was never found. They have scholarship programs in rememberance of both of them that are still around to this day. Tom Johnson commited suicide in 1994.

Why in the world did they put this expensive equipment in to "Tom's" car before cash was in hand? And, I know this was 1992, but if someone came into my business and wanted to buy an expensive piece of equipment, I would surely look at his driver's license, business license, whatever piece of documentation I could to make sure he was legit. Because, even if he was freelance or a consultant, I am sure he would have to have some kind of license to operate in such a manner.

Are you serious? Yeah, he could've "manned" up and gone after the guy. But, let's see, he was hit over the head with a gun while wrapped in a sheet/comforter. Take a second to think how well that would've gone down. Gun, or not, the guy was subdued and would've been beaten severely right after he "manned" up or just shot. But, hey, he could've died a hero. And this is a tv show, we really do not know if he ACTUALLY told her to be quiet.
