I think she's made a travesty of this song. She tries to do way too much with it. This song ought to be sung more simply - for want of a better word - as it is not at all complicated writing. Jeff Buckley makes something profound out of the simple nature of this song, and remains humble in the process. He does it way better than K.D, or anyone else for that matter.

I think that A Crowe is a lovely talent but that she hasn't the pain in her vocal register to interpret this particular song properly. I saw Kady Lang on the extras of Disney's animated Home On the Range. If I were to see her in person, her voice and style would mezmerize me. I could care less about her preferences, I think she is a beautiful woman! It's sad in this day and age people are still so ignorant that they care about another's orientation. L love kd. I love Jane's Siberrys original of this, what kd misses, I feel is the bitterness that Jane does through the lighter tone of her voice. I think the line " I can't wait for you to make the whole kingdom come" is one of the best bitter lines in song ever.

Hi I bought one on video from amazon after someone else on youtube mentioned it-didn't cost too much but worth every penny as it's brilliant!! It's nice to see life behind the scenes on kd's tour. She really comes across as being normal and fun- no big diva type ego. She is very entertaining - try and get one- You'll love it!
