one thing that i want to say to those of u who find it hard..listen to the congas...cause thats where the steps come from....like when u hear the conga doing tah tah tah and pop....jus listen to the congas..so each step you so when u touch the floor wit ure toe just like the lady did thats "POP" which is the last sound the congas make...its kind of confusin..but actually its the congas that make u move..so keep that in mind...ooh and thats it i hope this also helped!!

this is the gringo/modern version of bachata where the couple goes side to side instead of feeling the music. this is what they call bachata modern. However, the dance is supposed to be more about feeling the music. The really bachateros aren't into all the crazy turn patterns.
