The rest of the world is growing to hate Islam because it is growing to fear Islam, just like in the Middle Ages, when Muslims migrated up throughout Europe in such massive numbers that the locals feared attrition (and rightly so, as this is the number one technique for invasion by the Muslim world). Such a great talent. God gives us all gifts. Such a shame that Mr. Stevens would squander his by twisting such an horrible legacy of hate around his music. When a contract for murder was placed on Salman Rushdie's head because his viewpoint was offensive to the murderous elements of Islam, Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam publically pronounced that the murder would be not only just but also required of all the Islamic faithful, if they were, in fact, faithful.

I remember Cat Stevens from my teenage years. He was a great talent and I still love his music. I find it sad that he sang of peace and love, which we are told are also the tenets of his chosen religion (against all the evidence) yet he does not speak out and condemn acts of terrorism made in the name of his religion. What happened to the Peace Train?
