with casual playing it's likely to be 3 months - maybe less if you stick mainly to doing quests. But after hitting 40 you also need to get renown ranks, which you get only in pvp content/keep raiding (at least for now). You need to hit higher renown rank to do those endgame dungeons or contribute more to pvp - but compared to WoW you don't need to farm gear or buy them with real money - there's a vendor with some nice eq in capital

you can easily just go for 2 hours, do a keep raid, public quest or couple of scenarios and just log off.. just be sure to hit a high population server or lower tiers will be empty, and the only thing you can solo is quests

class unbalanced...doubts your probably just one of those people who try to solo all the time. and id say the classes are more balanced then wow and the game hasn't even been out that long and there is more content then the pvp and if it cant run on your computer then your computer just sucks wtf do you expect for it to run fine on all your computers which are used to run wow and for all people taking your opinion on this game from this guy i suggest playing the game first its actually quite fun

Fuck this game. not only is it VERY class unbalanced, but theres nothing to do. ToK unlocks, sc rvr, and orvr. thats it. Oh and it will also break your computer. Mythic wont fix the graphical or the crash issues. so, if u want to waste a lot of money trying to even play this stupid game, this is it.

It took me too long to look it up, but take a look at how many MB on Geforce 7100, then compare it with the game requirement-Graphic Card, and see how many MB does it say on there. If the MB on your Geforce 7100 > than on the requirement, then you cool, if not, go get a higher Geforce.

Warhammer has slightly more structured PVP than WOW, atleast until that seige BG came out, WHICH WASN'T COPIED FROM WAR, because they had plans for it a year before i even heard of WAR being developed. My god, WAR graphics and detail suck, i can't tell if the guy im fighting is getting healed until i see his health isn't going down, because the spell detail is just that crappy, no flash of light, no nothing to indicate that hes been healed. screw WAR, why do people think its so good?!?

WoW is just a cheap knock-off all around. It copied things pioneered by other MMOs (Sorry WoW fanbois but the MMO genre has been around since the 90s) and stole their lore from GW. The ONLY reason WoW is so successful was they are the first MMO to have an actual advertising campaign. Prior, MMOs were a small community.

Nothing was taken from WoW. WoW took a lot from Dark Age of Camelot which was Mythic's first MMO. If you want to say anything was borrowed, it was WAR borrowing from DAoC which makes sense since they were made by the same studio.

It depends, if you're under 20, you'd probably like WoW. It's cartoony and there's very little to learn. Warhammer is a slightly more mature community, and the majority of the classes require more than one braincell to play.

you fucking kidding me? 250k? plz, even if that was tru, thats still better than wat WoW got on realease year. WAR currently has 500k, and the 800k was back in 2006-2007 beta. And this game has lots of time for improvements, WoW had 4 years to improve, and I know for a fact that in 1-2 years WoW will die, and WAR will live. Its like that with all MMO's.

Warcraft didn't "copy" just warhammer, they've taken a lot of myth and transformed it into their own, just like alot of other modern fantasies have. Warhammer wasn't the first to create the paladin or "warrior-priest" as you call it. That being said, WoW just got worse with the new launch. Is the PvP pretty balanced? And is it actually based around team work mostly rather than just zerging stuff?

Nope, were you there for the WoW launch? I guess not, at the start, WoW only had open world PvP which was non existant, constant server crashes and so on and so forth. I love the part about plaguebearers that they are walking around trying to count things and find order amongst the chaos, just like in a fever dream where you find you have to do something in order to find peace. Also I agree about Nurgle being kind to his followers, he feels like the kind fat grampa who hugs his grandkids andfgives them sweets, or in this case; boils. Tzeentch voice is described as a cackling laughter with a hint of malice (in the realms of chaos books). The voice in the video on the other hand is deep and booming while still lacking the rage for it to be from Khorne. Also the "coming closer to your fate" bit directly clashes with Tzeentch's view that there is no end only change and rebirth, such finality as fate fits Nurgle's grand scheme much better.

Most mmo'shave taken idea's from other games and put it in theirs it almost impossible to make a mmorpg without using someone elses ideas. WoW is just a more popular game so of course its gonna look like War has used alot of Blizzards ideas because alot of the people playin WoW no heaps about it and can spot the similarities in other games. But also WoW's been out for alot longer than War (obviously) so of course it has alot more subscribers and has alot less bugs its had more time to fix them.

Guys, just stop walking about war x wow already, damn, it doesn't matter if the interface looks like wow's, or war's graphics are better than wow's. They're two different games, based in different beliefs, they both have their differences and their alikes, so how about just playing the game that you likes more? You don't need to spend your life trying to ' convert ' people for your game, that's just sad.

very nice game...but how good has the computer to be??...my is an new type ACER but did oneley cost me 6000nor...and i vant the game..i got world of warcraft and crusade but the paches dose take som place and i love warhammer more...it has bether picture and grafikk so...onely thate i want to now is how much place-RAM warhammer takes on my computer=D

I've done like 10 keep raids and I'm not bored...Hell of a lot better than WoW pvp that's for sure. Also the game hasn't been out long enough for the large scale rvr to start taking place.

Warhammers been around since before some of the boys at blizzard where fucking BORN. yes you could say its build upa bit of lore ;) In fact a major part of the game is the book where all your quests, titles, achievemnts and lore are all stored in. every time you explore a new area, or talk to a new person, you get a little xp for your discovery and a story or two for your Lore book!

GUYS DONT BUY WARHAMMER!okay they have rvr it is fun at 1st but after ll 15 or so it becaomes boaring u get tired of the same old stupid things again and angain.The pve is sad when u solo u fell like u r alone *almost no 1 dose pv or if they do they stay in 1 pq fore ever).which leaves us with the horible rvr which lack of a spark to queep u going in the game,it lack the strange satisfaction of sudently geting kiled out of the blue or the statisfaction of rand pking some 1 ass.Death penalty lame

They should keep in mind that the IG are just human soldiers, and would merely run up and hit you with their lasgun's butt. The chatter for the Marine should vary with the enemy you are killing. Like saying, "Die Heretic" against Chaos. You should also give the player the option to do a cc character or a ranged character, using statistics. p.s. I liked the traitor getting curb stomped at the end.

It feels like its always space marines and space marines, they should make something with like Imperial Guards if they still want to have the Imperium involved. Like a Elite Kasrkin soldier would be awesome. and it could be like Star Wars Republic Commando. not just run in a slaughter, but more tactics. Just a idea though.

There are 4 Chaos Gods, Khorne, Slaneesh, Nurgle and Tzeentch. Each rewards its followers for various deeds. The Daemon in the vid is a Khornate Bloodthirster and Khorne (the blood god) followers are generally bigger stronger and rely on muscle and axes rather than magic. Gifts given vary. These Chaos warriors are quite a way down the path of becoming Daemon Princes so are double 'ard bastards!
