I have 2 HP w2207h monitors hooked up to a BFG GeForce 8800GT video card via DVI to HDMI connections on both. I set the display to "one big display". My issue is the colors are not matching for example I open up Protools across both screens 1 looks grey the other is a redish grey, any idea what might cause this?

ok i use an HPf2105 1680x1050@60 720p and 1080i signals, I've had it for 3 years its amazing but I have to fix my Pc im going to get some more ram and clean it out, you know and restore it to the frist days when I got it, becuase My videos are all screwed up and My pc is all slow, I might renew everything, should I just get a HDTV while they fix this monitor it has a power button jam, should I use it for dual monitor display, keep in mind im a gamer and movie-hollic :)

I have one 22-inch. It seems to work perfectly because I change the shape of the windows to have many open at once and still everything. I also have Compiz on my Ubuntu machine so instead of clicking a thousand times like I had to on windows, I can just chage desktops and have different things open with one signle click.

I have 14 monitors ( 62" samsumg tv ) rounded on my chair , this way I can turn 360° and still not lose anything. It is also great if you think about it in a philosophic way , sometimes I feel I'm the center of the system , like if I work together with my PC as a chip , like if I'm the sun and the monitors are the planets.

i actually thought that this was justified. i have used parallels on my 2.4ghz 2gb of ram macbook and whilst its incredible and very practical its actually so slow i wouldnt consider using it for any real applications. in coherence mode on xp, msn by itself gets both cores running around 80% and takes up 70% of my ram. i guess i just dont mind this video cos im looking into vmware-not wanting to hear how slow parallels is. take that as a word of warning everyone-parallels is dog slow.

I had it crash, freeze,lagg, and alot more. Vista doesnt suck.. just has so much negitives. I have been in IT for ten years now and I am not a college graduate. I been lucky to have good jobs. I started in a call center working with end user doing hardware and software support. WOW! I was MEANT to see this video. Great advice. I REALLY want to become a massage therapist. However I'm afraid I won't make alot of money. So I decided, to go into computers (I'm going to start with A+ and Networking then maybe Microsoft Help Desk courses). But honestly...I really don't wonna. What an idiot. It take less time to train speech recognition software then to shoot absolutely lame video with stupid comments and upload it... Vista speech recognition works like a charm. And key thing there - good noise canceling microphone. Plus there is a Dragon Naturally Speaking - which can give you slightly better results...

I think his review was a bit harsh. Dragon's product v9.5 is amazing once you train it. It's about 95% of natural speach. You just have to pause a few times in between commands but speaking you can rattle on and it recognizes with about 99% accuracy. I don't think he has tried the newer versions yet.

For those that do not know Director 8.5 came out rougly 4-5 years ago and was the first Adobe application to create online media with true 3d environments. An environment you could navigate through and truely interact with. This was hudge but they have done nothing with it untill now. They now have Acrobat 3d which CAD developers and 3 modellers can embedd their 3d objects into a PDF and allow users to rotate and see layers of the model. Chris is nowhere near knowing whats going on with Adobe.

Chris is always late! Flash Lite has been around for almost 2 years thats along time in Adobe years, its old technology. Its been available for Windows Mobile 5.0 for more than a year and is intigrated into windows mobile 6.0. Hong Kong also uses the octopus card system, so you can upload a lot of money in it and you can buy a lot of things with it. Every transportation (except for taxis) has an option to use it, and every drink machine uses it too. every 7-11 (and similar shops) store also support it. It's really convenient. I like the hong kong currency. It's very balanced. A phone call is one dollar, candy ranges from 2 dollars and up, drinks are 5 dollars, basically the cheapest items are around that range, and it goes up from there. Vista is a lot more 'touchy' for me and those increased security features always get in the way. It's a less stable OS than XP for me, only in the sense that XP would take almost ANYTHING I threw at it. Vista throws up it's hands and gets very defensive when I do many things. However, Vista (along with a good PC) fully supports my drawing tablet - something which XP had trouble with. Sounds like a small thing, but for me it was great to get an OS that completely supported what I needed.

Though I understand that one does not truly create music with this gadget, I appreciate this toy for allowing those who lack musical ability to feel proud for indirectly creating a piece of music. I understand that you are a musician, and I congratulate you for your musical achievements, but please try to understand that this gadget provides a great outlet for those who cannot professionally create music; thus, in my mind, the Tenori-on truly is a great product.

It's really hard to believe the she is a MS MVP, but finds Vista so difficult to use. I have been using it since the beta up to today, and I've had no problems with it. If she is truly a power user, she should be using the Ultimate 64 bit version-that is the most stable version by far. Another thing that is puzzling is that she is a MS MVP, so why are people with Macs coming to her with questions about hardware and software, and malware? A Mac user going to a MS forum site with OSX questions?

What can gaming computers do more? Mac just has a lower Game count than windows because of how many users, and they have more users because of the low price. Windows is not easier to get around, the windows search takes minutes, while mac search takes half a second. and have you ever heard of spaces?
