I have to agree with everyone here, I think that Shannon was a great musician along with the rest of the band, I remember when I use to ditch high school sometimes just to stay home and see this video on MTV. Yeah MTV use to be so cool, they use to play this video quite a few times!

I've read on wiki that the band can't stand to even watch this video because Hoon was acting so irrationably because of drugs. One of the members even gets nauseous. Wonderful song though.

For me its a shame when anyone dies young but what gets me is how underated a singer Shannon was, I still think hes one of the best singers of all time, sounds like an exaguration but its true, and blind melon as a whole were incredible, im sure if shannon didnt die we would have still got a few more awesome albums out of them unlike other bands that only have one good record in them. Rest in Piece Shannon Hoon.

I love how this song switches from the saturated grunge/alternative riff in the verse to the corny Beatlesque chorus. The video is also a truly masterpiece. So sad that Shannon had to go so young, he had so much more to give yet.
