I like your gracious response. I'm from a liberal family with mixed ethnic/religious background and am not religious. So I am able to see things in a global perspective. My teen years were in the 80s. It pains me to see the harmonious India I grew up with watching unity based TV programs become like such a divided and chaotic country. The young minds have been poisoned by old men from the partition period. Religion, region, language, state...we find every opportunity to divide and hate.

It'd be dishonest of me to refuse the reality that it really happens. It's a shame, and disgrace to us. I'm completely aware of the contribution of you people in almost any field, maybe more than us. But for the record, I had no such intention when I commented. It appears I'm not that good with the humour part, darn.
By: donjuan4you. on 18 Nov 08, 20:04:54
Rajat...I answered about your accent only. You are making a big deal. I said we don't like your accent either. I find it strange that when South Indians hear you speak English we never make a comment about your accent. BEcause we know all of us in India have an accent. But North Indians has a delusion that they look and speak superior. Every time they like to disassociate South Indians in their talks when they abroad. Comments like, "oh the south indians are the ones with dark skin and accent".
By: Rajatoo9. on 18 Nov 08, 19:51:20
It's funny, because I meant it as a 'no offence' comment, especially not like the bash-divide-indians group. Chill down a bit, did I say the president wasn't good? He's great, if I had anything against south india I won't be saying that. I've been there, liked the people, so did they. Disliking something isn't always meant to "hate". Your accent sounds strange to me because I've been grown up in a different place(&accent), obvious. An eye for eye makes everyone blind, prove is around the corner.

okjr12, what if he looks creepy? It just puzzles me that your focus is on his looks. And for your shallow brain, most scientists are like this and they don't care about having a crew cut or latest hair style. It's totally not relevant. The fact that you are noticing it is wierd.
By: okjr12. on 16 Nov 08, 20:10:28
Why would I be watching this if I didn't think he was an amazing person? However, I still think he looks creepy. And yes, Einstein seemed a little creepy to me as well.
By: donjuan4you. on 16 Nov 08, 10:16:54
We don't like your North Indian accent either. Don't think your shit doesn't smell.
By: donjuan4you. on 16 Nov 08, 10:02:33
How about Einstein? Is he creepy to you too? This man came from a poor family in India (decades ago) and despite being a minority he rose to become a top scientist who led the space and missile program and want on to become President of India. All this just being a scienstist and a nice human being and no crooked politics. So learn to respect first.
By: Rajatoo9. on 12 Nov 08, 02:48:03
He's probably the only President out of all I really liked, despite I don't like South Indians' accent(s?)(no offence). :P
