I love how you can instantly tell whether he was in character or not back then. Ziggy was such an awesome persona. Bowie just doesn't do the Spider's setlist as well anymore, though he's just as good or better with the pre-glam stuff. I always assume it's because he ditched Ziggy. Not that it's a bad thing, I like his more recent stuff almost as much, but the 70's records were just... Wow, you know?

Fisher too was also a master of a new generation. He was 15 when he became a GM. He was the top player in the US by the age of 13. On the world championship he dominated the GMs of his day beating the russian and danish GMs 6-0. Such was unheard of at the time. Poor Bobby self distructed due to mental illness. Perhaps if he was given help when he needed it the most we could have an answer on who was better.

Point taken. The Rolling Stones are The Greatest Rock in Roll Band in the World. Taylor helped solidify that. The door was open , he walked in. But eventually he got tired of the scenes,touring party's and always felt a little out of place from the get go. The music they made though was brilliant. I wouldn't say it was shit, just different. I love Robert Johnson's music and prefer his version but the '72 Stones version is pretty good, mostly because of Mick Taylor's contribution though. After he left the Stones were finished as a creative force. Look at the late 70's concerts they really are shit.

Smart guy no doubt but most critics will say "Let It Bleed" is their best..."Bleed" has always been #1 by popular and critical consensus. Question for you, what constitutes a "real" stones fan? Because I've got teenage daughters that get more from the Stones then 90% of the "fans" I've seen at Stones concerts (est. 20 million)! All music is subjective, but for me "Exile" is their best because of the raw "club" sound. I've seen them in small clubs and I feel,that's when they're at their best.

Though it wasn't Stockhausen's intention to create an aesthetic linking evil to art, his words are remembered because they were so wholly unacceptable in the context of the spirit of this tradition. As Evaristti, Abdessemed and Vargas Habacuc have recently demonstrated there is a growing lobby of artists which sees nothing wrong with presenting real life suffering as art. Stockhausen is only one very small piece in the jigsaw. Pieces such as the Helicopter SQ are the result of an environment created by the late 20th century art revolution which postulated that anything could be art. It also allowed Cage to present endless nonsense, and even Ligeti got on the bandwagon. This environment has led to a present day situation in which even dying or suffering animals are being presented as visual art. Stockhausen's comments on 9/11, likening murder to art didn't help.

I don't remember Hero TV airing Devilman in any of its incarnations. But Hero did air Demon Lord Dante - which is connected to the Devilman universe. I'd wish they will bring back the anime of Go Nagai.

It's flawless because he DID win, it doesn't matter by how much. I haven't seen the 1500 race so i can't say anything about that. It was lucky yes, but it takes luck to win races, thats just the truth. The tactic was flawless because he did win and he didn't put himself in oxygen debt by going out to fast like the other runners could have.

This is a fantastic performance, one that makes olympics legends. But if you look at the film carefully, you can see three major errors by Arzhanov. The first one is when he suddenly slows his pace(0:52), losing his rythm. The second one is when he fasten his pace in a very sudden way (1:40), wasting a lot of energy. The last one is when he, immediately befor the finish line, almost stops, allowing Wottle to win. This guy ran in a very variable pace, while Wottle was smooth, saving energy.
