Yes, it is possible. Cows do not turn into whales; it was sort of a very big...dog...like...thingy. And you can't just accept micro evolution and not macro evolution. If I design a toy robot who has a gun and a sword and horns, and every week i change something very small, maybe tweak the horns, dull the sword, slightly shape out the gun, after maybe, hell, a few years of doing this, the toy robot would probably be very different.
