To be honest I like Alice in Chains much more, they just never acquired the airplay Nirvana did (mostly due to Cobain's untimely death at the peak of their success). I prefer Alice in Chain's harsher sound, and I think Nirvana has a melancholic feel to their work as opposed to an angrier, underlying tone that Alice seems to capture. I dunno. I find that the band members of Alice in Chains were much better musicians overall, and I think Nirvana is overrated. Let the flames begin...

Different music, man. Nirvana never had the chance to grow the way Alice in Chains did. Both have great moments. But although I'd say Alice in Chains has more GREAT songs, Nirvana has never produced musical drivel to the amount that Alice in Chains has.

i know there had better be. actually i thought of searching this after playing man in the box :D i hate people that just look up the song they see on rb or gh and say they love the artist, but it can do great things for the music business when people actually start listening to all the artists music. btw i knew this and man in the box before rb2 came out so im innocent :P
