Beautiful voice. =] And I can see where you might think of him being black with the kind of rap-like beginning. I might have thought that myself if I hadnt seen him on American Idol. As far as D.woods is concerned whether or not she was in that group b4 or not they have come out with more music after that has taken direct shots at Danity Kane. I would not call Missy simply a hip hop artist. If you listen to her beat, watch her vids and listen to her lyrics, she has an uncanny ability to tap into Black heritage. So much so, that it is reminiscent of old southern voodoo black. Now unless you have lived in the south like I have, that may sound weird. But like Haiti, West African and other cultural-religiosity with black flavor, she really brings that to life in her music. She hits on a heritage I don't think she is even aware of.
