I said check history, there are other such cases of people coming back to life. There are some even after hangings. And funny that you accept the death and its details from the bible but none of the other bits. And Jesus' mother did think he was God. There is also no evidence to suggest he stayed dead. After all the Jews or Romans would have produced the body instead of all the trouble that followed in Jerusalem and then Rome.They never did this at all.

Im very glad your friend didnt die. Though im not sure how that relates to history. Im sure,however, he didnt have a spear stuck in his side while he was nailed to a tree. And though i dont know your freind, i feel reasonably confident he didnt die on the table 2000 years ago, huh? And i also feel, at least reasonably , confident that Jesus' Mom and Dad think of him as God...Just a dirty kid from Nazareth.. but i never met them so, who knows

here is one way to look at it... 1. christians are wrong(there is no god/jesus) nonbelievers turn out to be right. what happens we die? absolutely nothing, we all end up in the dirt with no "afterlife" 2. christians are right(there is a god/jesus nonbelivers turn out to be wrong. what happens when we die? we will all be judged by god and either sent to Heaven(an eternity full of happiness) or hell(an eternity of pain and suffering)

You , my friend, have many questions. And though I wish I knew all the answers, I dont. I realize that your priest or pastor or whatever would happily take this opportunity to hand you a feel good answer from some applicable religious text, but the reality is that he dosent know the answers to million dollar questions any more then I do.
