I waited about eight years for RENT to come out, six for Hairspray, and far too long for Across the Universe [especially considering I'm not a fan of it]. Mamma Mia was about the only recent film adaptation/ movie musical I wasn't anticipating for a long time that was worth the time [not High School Musical] so god only knows how long it will be. Honestly, they'll probably come out with it eventually but it's all in taking the time out and adapting the script, filming, funding, etc.

Honestly, I've been waiting for someone to bring in Latin Rythms and R&B music to Broadway. It was only a matter of time. And trust me, I know Musical Theatre. I've been collecting vinyls since I was twelve and my mother since she was twelve. I very much enjoy showtunes often for their witty lyrics and apt construction and this is no exception to the rule. And the Cole Porter reference for 'Too Darn Hot' gets amazing love :] Cole is, in my opinion, the single greatest songwriter of all time.

they are still a band, and they released Fragile Future, their most recent album, on August 5 this year. Casey, unfortunatly, is not on featured on the album at all, as he died just over a year ago, on November 24, 2007. but they still recognize him as being the guitarist on the booklet... RIP Casey
