nope. he was mediocre at that and at acting, and that is what attracted him to scientology. real forward thinking creative people can't be duped by cults, I'm sorry. he was never a great skater, just had a lot of personality and energy in the videos, and that got him some fame. as I said, there is a reason why a lot of his contemporaries kept skating and pushing the envelope, and he went on to acting in alvin and the chipmunks.

This is guy is amazing. It's such a shame that he is underrated while crap like Hannah Montana, The Pussy Cat Dolls, and Hannah Montana is played more on the airways. I have say i agree. Neo-clasical is the way to go for shred guitarist. speed metal is really not that melodic and the phrasing gets repetitive. But you most be a guitar Virtuoso in order to play neo-clasical electric guitar only 1 in million get to this level (jason)

Yep just listened to Images and Words...no suprise I couldn't see ANY examples of feel from Petrucci in that song, just technical playing. Don't ge me wrong he is a VERY technical and clever guitar player but he really is very robotic!

He's not known too much anymore because of his illness, but in his golden days he took the world by Storm. And though he might not have a guitar coming out by fender he does have a distortion pedal that's coming out soon, I think it's from Marshall but i'm not sure.

Three of our sons actively played basketball in grade school and high school. In high school they were the guys who needed some of the coach's time to develop. This was more than he had time for i.e. other guys naturally gifted. No one knows how our three might have done. But Jason's coach knew he deserved the chance and gave it to him.
