Cheetahs cant chase off Hyena's - its the other way around. Even Leopards and Female Lions are weary of Hyena's. A fully grown Male Lion would obliterate any Hyena though.

Well pumas (concolor) dont belong o the big cats (panthera), nore do cheetahs (acinonyx)... leopards have a wery ''big'' geographic diversity - big males from east Africa may way up to 70kg, while those from the cape may be half that size. The Biggest cougars are found both in the farmost north and south of there range, but I dont have any relieable statistics obout the wate... I think there obout the same size...

A leopard is wery agressive... Cheetahs can sometimes chase off hyenas, but, altough the cheetah on avarage is bigger at shoulder then a leopard, the cheetah would never risk fighting one

Also the aiming system is from germany. the abrams has most important components from other countries. Chobham Armor -> british, L44 cannon plus aiming system -> german. The Leopards here appear to be Leopard C1's (1A3s or 1A4s) with the MEXAS Armour as opposed to Leopard C2's (1A3's or 4's with modified 1A5 turrets). For clarification, these are Leopard C2s which are NOT the same as Leopard 2. The Leopard C2 is a Leopard 1A3 with a 1A5 turret plus a few upgrades. (Which makes them roughly equivalent to an improved 1A5.) The Leopard C2s in Afghanistan are also all equipped with add-on armor kits.

Ja du hast da glaube ich rehct, aber entscheidender ist das sie robustere Motoren haben als die westlichen panzer der Motor des T-80 soll so robust gewesen sein bzw. gut in der Wüste das die Pakistanischen diese für ihrne Panzer wählten..Ja du hast recht mit den Bauteilen aus dem Ausland ..aber der panzer ist gut genug um gegen den T-90 zu bestehen einziger mangel halt die schwache panzerung..heute ist aber sowieso kaum noch eine Panzer v.s. Die russischen Panzer hätten ohne diese Ketten / Front Schürze die selben probleme wie die westlichen modelle, die Motoren würden absaufen und die Tankette würde stehen bleiben. Ja sie haben einen Panzer entwickelt, aber die meisten Bauteile stammen ausm ausland. Übrigends hat der Alkhalid nur 3 man Besatzung was auf einen Autolader hindeutet, bei einem gefechstgewicht von ca 47 tonnen wird er wohl nicht sehr stark gepanzert sein auch wenn er über eine niedrige silhouette verfügt.

Wüste kommt drauf an, z.b. der Challenger 2 hatte große probleme mit feinem Sand, der Motor saugte den feinen Sand an und ging einfach aus. Um das zu beheben hat man im Wüstengelände am Challenger 2 kettenschürzen angebracht die dafür sorgen das der Staub nicht mehr so stark aufgewirbelt wird und damit nicht aungesaut werden kann. Schwemmland dürfte kein prob sein. Was der Richtschütze da gemacht hat ka, vllt. haben sie den Richtschützen in der Kaserne vergessen :-P

Was hat den ein automatisches Ladesystem damit zu tun, das Geschoss war doch geladen nur der Richtschütze hat gezögert. Desweiteren ist ein Autolader von Nachteil, ein Ladeschütze lädt schneller "5sekunden" und ist sicherer. Achja sobald der autolader ausfällt muss der Kommandant oder der Richtschütze das Laden übernehmen und das verringert die effiktivität des Panzers enorm. Und natürlich bei wartungsarbeiten sind 4 mal von vorteil.

Most Mac users would laugh at the necessity to uninstall software in Windows (and in Linux too). With a Mac, you can simply delete the application. And after a while, in Windows, you may uninstall something and then realize that uninstalling that software removed a DLL that another program relied on. So then you have to go find that DLL somewhere and put it in place. Mind you, I am a longtime Windows user, so I am speaking from experience.

I always thought it was the other way around.. At least it used to be. Mac OS was always made to be easy to use. With Windows, you have to deal with the registry, un-installers for software, DLLs, etc., whereas Mac OS doesn't have those complexities. OS X does have the BSD layer though, so I think OS X has the best of both worlds; ease of use and a powerful OS.

I like the incentive to stop farmers from hunting. But i still think hunters can easily hide a Leopard when they kill one. We need to help them find better ways of keeping the leopards away from their cattle alltogether. Or to have better fences or something... Such spectacular animals! It is sad and frightening to think that future generations may only see these cats in textbooks. A lot of people get upset when they have to think/deal with financial aspects of conservation, but unfortunately in many parts of the world rare animals, like the snow leopard, are seen as pests and without strong financial incentive to preserve them all efforts to protect them would fail. I applaud Snow Leopard Trust and similar organizations for their efforts.

i give some hint. - must update 10.5.4 for system performance. - install kaly 10.5.2 with only vanilla kernal (i installed all of leopard version iATKOS4i, leo4allv1,2,3,4, OZ, etc again and again [about 80 times -_-];. but problems -sleep, wlan, performance, update- were occured without kaly 10.5.2)

Leopard geckos don't need UV lamps, they're nocturnal. They take some time to grow also, just make sure she's eating (regular poopings tell you she's eating smething) and offer good, clean water daily, and she should grow fine.

I know this strike will probably put a bit more work on your desk since the damage is at the point were I don't think the lease will cover it and we probably bought this one, but it helped four soldiers walk away relatively unharmed. At least the German Army and KMW can take comfort in the fact that the kit works and does save lives even if I did write off a tank. Thanks again sir and your work on that end is truly appreciated. Unfortunately we didn't all walk away unharmed, my driver broke his left hip, but the fact that most of us only suffered bumps and bruises and ringing ears is testament to how well the new tanks function. This was our second IED strike in six weeks and much bigger than the first and only through sheer luck we were travelling in a Leo 2. I'm certain that we wouldn't have fared as well in another vehicle.

That wouldn't work and the motherboard has the slots for the ram, basically the motherboard is the main connection for all the hardware, however it just fits in a slot so it's not difficult to take out. Just annoying. In a mac, you can't take anything out but ram and video cards and almost no video cards work in a mac

It may not be as easy as on PC's due to the form factor, it still isn't too hard for people who know what their doing. Noobs shouldn't be messing around with hardware anyways. I don't know where I heard this before, but "replacing the motherboard is like replacing the whole PC" and since the graphics mostly is the bottleneck, it would give at least a little performance boost. Also you might be able to use some hackintosh drivers to at least let Leopard boot and show a desktop when not playing.

pretty easy, not really, it's a pain compared to a pc. On top of that the video card alone does not make the game run well. You need a better motherboard(one of the most importent parts in a computer), hard drive, more ram, a good power supply, processor, etc. etc. A mac can simply not do this

It's pretty easy to open an iMac to replace the graphics card (24" iMacs) if you mean that. I for one am pretty satisfied with the built-in one (in Leopard, since there aren't that many games out for Mac OS ) anyways. But for gaming (or if you want to run mainly Windows) you could upgrade the graphics card - at least on the 24" models - to the newer cards, right? Peace

That's why I said "they may". Didn't really know about this firmware stuff. But doesn't boot camp "emulate" a BIOS? If I'm not too wrong, you could get some of these cards to run with Windows (on a Mac) then. And I would consider Medium settings in Crysis pretty decent anyhow. But that's only my opinion since I'm not a "hardcore gamer", obviously.

Well, indeed I did have some kernel panics due to a (now finally fixed) bug in airport and as a result 3rd party USB receiver, but since then I didn't get a single kernel panic. Anyways, do you mean ATi 1000 series? As far as I'm aware you could upgrade an iMac to an ATi 2600 or nVidia 8800, both capable enough to even run Crysis, (in Windows of course) or e.g cod4 (natively) on decent settings. And the 4xxx series may be great dx cards, but they also may not be the best choice for OpenGL. Peace
