wow really i have to say the only thing that gives rolls an advantage is cloak of shadows... on my mage this is 40ish to high 50s havent bothered to lvl him more cuz I LOVE MY rogue and hunter. but i had a mage say there worse enemy was a rogue at 20 well i proved em rogue at lvl 42 as fire i pwnd a rogue at 49 it was tough but i did it and felt good ^^ now i just hate it stupid DKs arent even funny its stupid how op they are till 80

The mage should do the pull. Also frost > fire to tank him, cause of ice barrier. Mage tanking in gruuls lair, is the easiest thing in wow really.. But I guess maybe you helped some nuubcakes, who is raiding karazhan. Reroll horde Burning Legion! PuG Mount Hyjal and get T6. All though, wotlk is here now, so screw T6.

GREAT VIDEO. Note: The mage is NOT the first one pulling. Other raiders should be TO THE LEFT OF YOU and not standing back in the doorway to the room. The distances between the orge, the mage, and the healer. (Perfect in this video) This orge does AOE (area of effect damage)so keep proper distance. Spell steal: If your in mid cast of fire/ice bolt when this orge shields, JuMp to cancel cast, so you can cast spell steal instead. I had 7500 health unbuffed and 9032 health when buffed. GREAT VIDEO.

I'll say any mage spec can tank Gruul. The most important aspect is to be using your spell steal to get that shield and any mitigating shields to mitigate damage when the shield is down. For frost, this is easy since we can use ice barrier, fire ward and if necessary to live, mana shield. For a fire mage its easy to pull because of scorch, but a frost mage can simply use icy veins and throw a frostbolt. You won't need icy veins to tank because if you do, you'll run out mana

thanks, the first time i went to gruuls and my group said bring in the mage tank im all laughing and then this mage with like 15k health comes in and starts the fight im like OMG R U KIDDING ME i didnt know that your supposed to mage tank him, i screamed in raid I FINALY FOUND OUT WHAT THE STAMINA CLOTH GREEN CRAP ITEMS ARE FOR!!!!!! TANKING GRUULS! lol the group payed me to get full stamina greens on my pally and i hade 16k health no stats no mana no anything and their like tank in that.

ich war stelbst 3 jahre mage bis ich aufgehört hab mit wow. aber er hat leider recht, spieler die magier spielen machen gerne mist, vor allem mit AE. des hat 2 gründe: 1) vom mount springen und losbomben sieht unheimlich geil aus (fürn mage), POM, AP pyro dauert zu lange -> sieht net geil aus! 2) AE liegt bei 87,346456% aller magier auf nem gut zu benutzenden hotkey, es is halt des einfachste AE-knopp zu drücken.

interesting turn on this technique. My alt mage is lvl 51 and I have been rocking 59,000 exp per hour pulling the entire lvl 50-51 side of WPL near Chillwind Camp in three pulls. one in five pulls I get boned and have to run for it but AOE as frost mage is AMAZING! I plan on doing it in WPL/EPL all the way to 60 just to see how fast I can do it. Then it's off to the buzzards in HFP!

If you are just starting out, you will be completely outpointed by all the people who have been buying power user since 2005, and since they know about the ridiculously horrible class imbalances that exist in the game, you will be behind there too. If you do manage to break it into the "big leagues" with all the big names(like Learned? rofl?) you will find that the community is so small and uninteresting that you want out

Yes, try it out. Hit a zero with a spell on something like a man or something and check the base xp, (you get extra xp for hitting above 0) and then check out how much xp you get in the abbys, it's much less.

Nice Vid - I agree HH is fun with seal, especially maxed ;D Uhmm I recommend skipping Thunder Spear because "its slow as hell" and it get pwnt by chain lightning. I'm 142 with maxed chain light, insande mobbing plus damage. Ice first! Skipping TS allows you to later max booster, extremely useful and NOT annoying!
