Certo la versione è un pò elettronica... ma dire che è tunzettona è tutt'altra cosa... in ritmo che gli da l'elettronica era lo stesso tenuto con la grancassa dalla PFM... a conti fatti, e'vero che morgan ha scritto questa canzone, citazione piu', citazione meno. a proposito, ma sai che battiato faceva esattamente la stessa cosa? citava frasi o interi pezzi di poesie e canzoni. Per esempio, Una Storia Inventata, cantata da Milva, cita pezzi di un brano francese, e entaind sifflair le trein. C'e' un'altra canzone, che lui scrisse per Giuni Russo, che riprende un'intera strofa di una canzone degli anni '30. Per non parlare del celebre cuccuruccucu'...

a volte, una semplice parola puo' cambiare il senso di tutto il resto. per esempio invece di "spudoratamente copiato", io avrei detto che l'inizio della canzone e' una citazione tratta da Donne. Morgan cosparge le sue canzoni di riferimenti letterari che i piu' neanche colgono e, sono certo sarebbe pure contento di sapere che tu l'hai "scoperto" (cioe' hai colto il riferimento). Cmq, una canzone nn e' solo una o due frasi, e in questa canzone, infatti, c'e' ben altro...

I'm a new listener of Morgan Heritage. The first song I heard from them was "Brooklyn and Jamaica" on Reggae Gold 2007. Bob Marley is the first musician that started my interest in Reggae. I don't know why some people are banging on about Dimebag in a video of someone completely different. Hagstrom and Thordendal are incredible guitarists; their rhythmic style, which must reflect the way they think as composers, and the ability to actually play in such a way...well, i'm sure most guitarists who attempt to play their stuff will find it mind-bending, to say the least. They're not about melody, particularly. They lose nothing for it. Kudos to Fredrik, and this drummer, it's awesome!

Well if you know Meshuggah, at least their later material, they aren't known for shredding guitar or complicated scaling and note structure. It's mainly based around complex rhythm and dissonance. Plus, this drummer is tearing shit apart. So, for all you jealous haters, respect and appreciate it for what it is.
