I have the version 10 of Roxio Creator Suite. Video Wave is very good. I wish it didn't have so many problems, and didn't keep freezing on me. Aist MediaLab is also a verygood software. Version 3 only cost $10!!! It can do compositing, special effects, everything that movie maker does except better. Multiple video and audio tracks. Animation too! It rocks

hahahaha dude im taking middle school filming class's. and our school is ordering $3,000 worth of adobe video editing. and were stuck with wmm until that comes through. my teacher LAUGHS at windows movie maker. sure its fine if your just doing low end webcam shows without too may effects, but if your GRADES actually depend on, windows movie maker is a joke! always freezes, crashes, isnt compatable etc!

LOL well i sat through ur WHOLE video now my but sore but w/e. I bought a new computer with Amd processer x64, 3gb ram, 200gb hard drive and the only thing that sucks on it is the OS. I had it crash, freeze,lagg, and alot more. Vista doesnt suck.. just has so much negitives. I think Microsoft Launched Vista only because of one reason, MAC WAS COMMING OUT WITH OSX 10 or w/e. so microsoft lauched it so all those microsoft fans dont switch to MAC leading to microsoft losing customers XxKOLOHExX

For those that do not know Director 8.5 came out rougly 4-5 years ago and was the first Adobe application to create online media with true 3d environments. An environment you could navigate through and truely interact with. This was hudge but they have done nothing with it untill now. They now have Acrobat 3d which CAD developers and 3 modellers can embedd their 3d objects into a PDF and allow users to rotate and see layers of the model. Chris is nowhere near knowing whats going on with Adobe.

What could be the problem with my toshiba- i just want to run it off of AC power, so i disabled the battery in device manager, (without physically removing it)- anyways it ran fine with just ac power until now where the battery light is orange, and the alarm sounds, and the system shuts down. Well, this may be true. But I still think they can improve. Laptops, as you know can cost hundreds to even a couple of thousand dollars. And they pride themselves on being mobile. If you have to carry a power cord with you everywhere you go then what good is it? You may as well just stick with the massive desktop. Will someone please tell me why does the battery of a laptop has such a short lifespan. I mean even a cell phone stays charged all day long. Why don't laptops do the same? Cold isn't good for Li-Ion batteries, but in normal use it won't make a difference, mayb if you where running in 0 -10 deg cel u may need a different battery. LI-ION does have a memory. Unless properly cycled from fully up to fully discharged you may notice a difference of upto 100 charges, possibly more. Also DO NOT STORE slightly discharged, ALWAYS STORE FULL. If the battery is left discharged for any amount of time it will b fucked.

That's what everyone says, but I'm pretty sure laptops are developed now a days that you don't need to unplug the battery while plugged in AC, it will not charge through the battery if it's 100%. Also, cold is not good for Lithion Ion batteries from what I heard. As for letting 40% or whatever, doesn't sound right.

So let me get this straight..and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just a bit confused. 1) When an individual's battery is full, and he is near an outlet, he should just remove the battery and store it somewhere cool, and just run the laptop plug into the wall. 2) When the individual run his/her laptop, he/she should only let the battery go down to 40% (Possibly 30%)? Just don't let it drain.

I don't have any problems taking a programme recorded with Media Center and burning it to a DVD. This option is built-in to my version of Media Center which shipped with VISTA x64. I do it quite regularly, although Media Center does take a while to trans-code into DVD format and burn it to an actual DVD. I only wish that Media Center would allow export to other formats, such as xVid and DIVx.

I agree that some PCs are very bad at multi-tasking, i had an old packard bell that wouldnt do it for shit, but i find it has a lot to do with the choice of hardware. Im not going to pretend that windows is a brilliant operating system. What it does give you is choice, in this case the choice to select any component you chose and of course there are bad decisions.

I wish I had a Mac. It's pretty difficult when you're young to ask your parents for 1,000 or something dollars to buy a laptop when you have a working desktop. Can't wait till I'm older and have a job so I can buy a Mac. I do multitasking quite a lot like when I'm on the internet, listening to music, watching videos, and talking to friends. Though I understand that one does not truly create music with this gadget, I appreciate this toy for allowing those who lack musical ability to feel proud for indirectly creating a piece of music.
