Mac for life baby!... I think the OS competition is getting a bit redundant. The bottom line is which one is appropriate for your needs and best fits your psychological makeup. As such some people will learn faster and be highly productive on one OS vs another. So the question is which one fits you the best? Chris is right don't listen to the hype. Actually both Macs and PCs suck and blow. This is because all the air sucked in by the fan in one port is ultimately blown out through some other port. The total amount of air sucked in has to equal the amount of air blown out. So computers with fans both suck and blow. If it only sucked, it would blow up like a balloon. Not good.

My two cents: I've been using Windows for a majority of my computing life and I have to say I love it. I've had my fair share of problems, but learning how to fix them gave me a better understanding of computers. Recently I've decided to install Ubuntu (Arguably the most user-friendly flavor) for a few reasons; one reason is that it's new to me (and free). Another reason is that it's harder to use, what with the terminal and whatnot...

Only if you don't know what you're doing. Like the video said. You need to be able to use it. (I don't mean going on myspace and using AIM) Besides, if you get an error just google it and find the fix within 2 seconds. Stop being so lazy.

LOL well i sat through ur WHOLE video now my but sore but w/e. I bought a new computer with Amd processer x64, 3gb ram, 200gb hard drive and the only thing that sucks on it is the OS. I had it crash, freeze,lagg, and alot more. Vista doesnt suck.. just has so much negitives. [part 2/2] Thus, Windows XP won't show up in the Software panel, because you didn't install XP on your computer in the first place, you installed in on the virtual machine. If you want to get rid of your virtual Windows XP, you simply delete the virtual machine and the virtual hard disk file. I hope that helps!

[part 1/2] It doesn't work like that. With VMWare, you basically make a separate virtual computer with a virtual hard disk file. Everything will be installed in the hard disk file, your real system will not be affected. So, if you install XP on a virtual machine, your real operating system is not affected. XP sits within the virtual hard disk and VMWare mounts this hard disk, so you can use it as a virtual computer.

After install on the first booting after restart BSOD appeared (I was feeling distressing at this time) but tried the second restart and it works but on 16 colors and the Display properties appeared. I selected the previous settings (so the graphic card drivers without VM Additions support) and it restarted without rebooting by going again by BIOS (only system reload) and finally, it works for me again but now on Virtual PC 2007! Thanks for this very nice tip to VPC Guy - Ben Armstrong!

On my previous comment to this video I tried to install in MS Virtual PC 2007 the VM Additions to Windows 95 but cannot be installed. So I searched Google for a help and found a site "vpc(dot)essjae(dot)com". I found that resources why VM Additions from VPC 2007 cannot be installed on a Windows 95 machine but also found an ISO Image of VM Additions from VPC 2004 so decided to install this older version.

For those that do not know Director 8.5 came out rougly 4-5 years ago and was the first Adobe application to create online media with true 3d environments. An environment you could navigate through and truely interact with. This was hudge but they have done nothing with it untill now. They now have Acrobat 3d which CAD developers and 3 modellers can embedd their 3d objects into a PDF and allow users to rotate and see layers of the model. That is one of the most atractive things in GNU/Linux, Compiz, when people see it, instantly they want to have Linux, even if they dont know Windows. But even you dont have knowledge of terminals, you could use an Ubuntu, Knoppix based distro, most of today Linux distros are start to being more easy than back in the days. I use Debian and runs fine with all that stuff, but at the end is just an eye-candy and doesnt give something usefull, at least Desktop Switch.

You think poor people come from impoverished countries with dirt floors in one room huts. Poor people can come from those countries which built heroc. Windows came pre load on every PC in OZ. All have atleast win 98se, if scan hd for number. I think 98se can do as much for the poor, than Linux in any distro. Linux makes poor feel worthless, windows works, user friendly

I have tried every Linux, Fedora, Unix, Ubuntu, Gentoo, it is all amusement for will be yuppies, smoke and mirrors and a boy scout badge for students who work it out. Later they go back to windows.
